tHe BeGiNinG of a StaRt, THe teRMinaTioN of aN enD

Ah yes. Indeed the exams are over. Am I overjoyed? Perhaps not. A little, but not overjoyed. The second round is coming soon...oh yeah, i see the vivas and re-sits coming up. Perhaps I should not slack and start studying - AGAIN!..but this time, for GOOD, and with CONCENTRATION. I know that I have 'muttered' time and time again that I can't concentrate or study...so, to those who got annoyed, sorry! Hehe, but yet, there were those who shared the same frequency; and yeah, we RESONATED! LoL~!

We had 7 papers in total. Quite a handful. I know I didn't do well in most of them, always hoping to merely scrape a pass. Yet, I do have a strong inclination that I would have to sit a majority of them again. I really want to pass...that would be THE DAY! - To actually know that a MIRACLE had happened and that i'm heading towards YEAR TWO MB ChB! *wishful thinking* However, based on my performance, it's not something to be proud of. Sigh. Oh well...

(the sky is getting bright blue now..and the time, only half past 4..AM)

Today had been an absolutely FANTASTIC day though. The weather was AWESOME! The best that I have seen in weeks! ...and to have such a lovely start to the break (and an end to the term) was really AMAZING. No words can explain how lovely the day was..(technically, yesterday). Indeed, the sun does shine brightly after a downpour. I hope my results would come out alrite too..beating all odds!

I had quite a long day today. After our afternoon paper, we (Amy N., Sara, Amy W., Abby) went to grab lunch at Kappucinos. I had a baguette. Despite not having much appetite, I chowed it down and feeling quite stuffed til very much later in the day. After that, we went to Bute Park and just laid in the sun! weeee~! Well, i won't deny that i dun quite like the awfully bright sun - it makes my skin dark!, but it seemed like a real nice thing to do..just lying on the green grass spewing wif daisies while basking under the sun. I learnt how to make a daisy chain too! Ah, and this is the proper-PROPER one, not some crooked meaning (as a friend told me of it's existence!). I think i spent about 2 hrs plus under then sun..hehe, my butt got dried/burnt/baked/fried..u pick~! =D HAHA!...After a 20 min break in my room, i went off again to Amy W's place so that she could drive us to a house where we were supposed to gather. The walk was lovely...ate ice cream! and boy-oh-boy, the air was filled with smells of BBQ!!!!!!

We took a nice drive to a recently retired (2 months) doctor's house - dermatologist to be exact - and my gosh..yet again, i was tantalised by the beauty of british homes! really warm, cosy, clean, articulate, ...nice. Peter's wife made food..it was LUSH! YUM YUM YUM! Had salad (which was absolutely NICE - wonder how can a mixture of leaves leave such a graceful delight to my tastebuds!), lasagna (this was alrite. the top bit was a bit hard though), and garlic bread. It was topped off with a bowl of fruits (with optional self-pouring cream!) and an assortment of cheese and crackers (LIP-SMACKIN'!). i HAVE to comment on the fruits. It was really really good. there was a good mixture. honey dew, apple, pear, orange, strawberries and the whatnots, which make it normal. BUT...there were slices of BANANA in there as well! oooh, my tastebuds clashed a bit there. Hmm..also, here, people tend to drink something not only sweet...but also flavoured. Instead of drinking just water, or juice, FLAVORED water was served. hehe, Guess wot...we ate in the garden!!!! it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Saw sunset at around 8.30pm..lovely orang-y sky. =)

BUT..that's not the point. The meet up was actually a gathering. It was really good. Felt very welcomed, saw how supportive the people there were with each other..all that stuff.

We left around 9.50PM, when the sky was BEGINING to get dark...and then off to A.W's place for tea and hot choc. I reached home only around 11.30pm...so, yeah, i had quite a day....

signing off at 5 AM
