Doctors here are different.

I see so much passion in what they are doing. The junior doctors might seem overworked and tired at times, but they continue to persevere, perhaps because one day, they know their dreams will come true. It is perhaps because the leader of the team is a source of inspiration - be it to emulate, or what to stay away from becoming. That said, perhaps even doctors with the worse attitudes can be the best. Fortunately, there are little of those, and I have seen mostly doctors with passion, so much so that their titles are what it says - not just doctors, but consultants.

There has been a change in the attitude. It must be due to the medical school, and the transition into greater mankind evolution. The very old doctors can be very good, but their approach towards patients might not be as kind as those middle-aged doctors.

The passion not only lies there. They really do strive to be better. To be the best in their respective field, keeping the competition up even though they are into their late 40s, even 50s. They go into research, they write to journals and papers.

I can only hope that the same goes for Malaysia..

At times, looking at this, it can be inspiring. However, if not very optimistic, it can be quite sad because to know that there is so much that they have achieved and going to achieve, and yet, here I am, not striving as much as.
