Bring back my memories...

What's an email compared to a hand-written letter; signed, sealed and delivered with a pretty stamp at the right hand corner of the lovely white envelope...

What's an ecard compared to a real/hand-made card; personally created with beautiful written phrases from the heart..

What's an internet phone call compared to one called using the normal phone, full attention paid to the caller and the recipient without interruption or lags...

True indeed what my sis-aunt said. Technology has taken over too much our lives. The aesthetic value of the wonderful-ly quaint way of communicating and showing our emotions is tragically gone.

I truly miss the long phone calls, of holding the receiver to the ear instead of earphones or computer speakers; writing pages long of letters every week, having to stock up on paper and pen ink refills, to go to the post office and ask for new stamps, to fold the paper and put it into the envelope, sealing the envelope, writing the name and address of a loved one and sticking a stamp onto it; receiving cards and parcels through the post box seeing your name and address written by a loved one..

I wish those days to be returned to me..
